Joining the FBS was an eye opener to the poor management practices I was using on my farm which resulted in disease and pest infestations and low yield.

Now the FBS has built my capacity to ensure best farm practices such as pruning, correct fertilizer and pesticide application and other farm sanitation practices. Apart from protecting my younger cocoa seedlings from direct sunshine, shade crops also fetched me some money when I sold them to other farmers. I would never have known this if not for the FBS. I, my husband and Seven Children are now enjoying days of reviling as I harvest triple of what I used to before joining the FBS. Indeed, when I count my blessings, I count the SGP twice!
